Our First Big Donation!

At Meals on Heels, our mission has always been simple from day one: turn care into action.

This past holiday season, we took a major step forward in that mission. Thanks to the collective support of our community and your donations, we made our very first contribution to Tony’s Place, a Houston-based organization that provides vital resources and support for LGBTQ+ youth battling homelessness.

Together, we donated $927 in total — including $677 in groceries and a $250 H-E-B gift card — to help ensure young people have access to food, essentials, and care when they need it most. For us, this moment represents more than a dollar amount. It represents proof that a small community can create real, tangible impact. Every shirt purchased, every share, every conversation about our mission helped make this possible.

Tony’s Place does life-changing work in our city, offering not only meals and housing support, but also affirmation, literature, safety, and a sense of belonging.
